Women in the workplace!

Women in the WorkplaceThe other day I was sat in the office minding my own business only to be disturbed by little cackling, chortling and snorting which then went into wild and weird giggles.

I couldn’t believe my eyes. My God, the film ‘Debbie Does Dallas’ comes to mind.

The girls, consisting of my mum and aunties, had recently been to an Ann Summers Party and had just received (all wrapped up discretely in a bag may I add) their goodies. Out came the ‘Rampant Rabbit’, tickle stick, chocolate spread and of course the dreaded handcuffs. With a mighty leap from the opposite desk, the girl, who shall remain nameless hand cuffed me to the chair. Great! My Dad always says to make saying thank you a part of our workplace communication habits and skills. True to his word, I did just that. No seriously, an unknown source once said “Nothing improves the memory more than trying to forget”. Shy as I am, it was uncomfortable – really mum!

Anyway on the bike front all is going well. We are continuously preparing ourselves for the upcoming season and the chaos that the next few months will bring. We are, as I speak packing up ready for testing next week. I can’t wait to get back out there on track.

Keep checking my blog as I will let you know how things are going!

Thanks and cheers for now
